About us test

$VN (prononced as "Seven") is a Canadian duo comprised of Mississauga natives nyXsun and SAGS under the collective, MØD. MØD stands for Makers over Dreamers. It is a blueprint for how we chose to build our music and lives.

After years of fostering our music training, we began working on cover songs in the early years of our friendship before honing in on original productions. In 2018, we began releasing self-produced singles and soon got recognized for our contrasting yet complementary vocal styles. Our music blurs the lines between modern day Hip-Hop and contemporary R&B and we are just getting started.
